DVAYA-A Confluence of Male Female Spirits, Reel Part 1 Canada Tour 2007

A Sudha Thakkar and Manu Kala Mandir Dance Production, DVAYA-A Confluence of Male Female Spirits, tells the story of the coming together of the male and female spirits, using the metaphor of the process of confluence for two rivers of equal power and strength. Clips from select pieces, this footage is from the highly acclaimed and successful tour across Canada in 2007. Cast includes: Shivani Thakkar (female lead), T.K. Thiruchelwam (male lead), K.A. Sivaramakrishnan "Ganesh" (Vocalist), T.K. Ramakrishnan (Mridangam), M.S. Kannan (Violinist). Artistic Director: Sudha Thakkar. Executive Producer: Rashmi Thakkar. Created and Produced with the generous funding and support from Canada Council for the Arts, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, and Calgary Regional Arts Development.
