@milesbjameson Yes I would love to know too. They (Daisychain) have no wiki page. Was it a group, or did just some '80s producer guy create the song? Who is the suave-sounding black dude at the beginning & where is he now? Was this their only song? Was it ever a hit, and where? Or was it only picked up on as a radio song by DJs in Ireland? .. so many questions.
But it's fantastic to have finally found it, cos it never left my head, having remembered it from '80s radio ... such an evocative song.

Near impossible to fing although I have version on cassette, but it's wearing fast. Could someone please post the country of origin for this song. A friend of mine in Iowa got it from his penpal in Norway. Who wrote this song? Where are they from?

One of the best benefit awareness songs of the 80's undoubtedly influenced by do they know it's Christmas? from the U.K. and We are the World from the U.S. This song covers many European and Asian Languages but the message is the same Peace for all. Just about every European nation put out an awareness song in their pop charts after the famine in Africa. Oh the power of music. I still have this version on cassette thanks to a penpal from Norway!
