What a nice video! I am from Sweden and I plan to rent a car in Washington DC and go to Assateague Island National Seashore when I visit the States in January. How do you access the island? Is it connected to land via a bridge or do you go by ferrie?

Thank you for your comments. Assateague island is connected to Chincoteague island by bridge on the southern end and to Worcester County, MD by bridge on the northern end. From DC, go east along route 50 towards Annapolis. Cross the Chesapeake Bay bridge and head south towards Ocean City, MD. Have fun!
