hi i noticed on the nubian kinks website a picture of you and it looked like you had twist. so do you have loc extensions or is it natural?

@beautybycc The photo with me with the twist was all of my hair, but that was in 2005. I started my locs in 2006 and needless to say I had a good length when I started my locs. I didn't need to start them with loc extensions. I just two strand twisted my own hair and let it loc from there. My next set of locs I will probably do the loc extension. Our next video will be about loc extensions. Stay tuned!

I want to make an appointment right now (!) but I do have a question...do all of the stylist use the same techniques that this chic uses in the video?? Like the same technique of washing, applying the pomade with the brush, wrapping the new growth around with her index finger before palm rolling etc..

If not then I only want her to do my locks!

I kind of learned that when I had loose natural hair and I used to do 2 strand twists so was wondering if it would work with this...will try it next time and let you know ;-) Her hair looks beautiful too!

This is soo beautiful. I am starting my locs process, I had my hair braided and then I cut the braids out after my natural hair grew at the roots, I go tomorrow to get my starter locs and this just encourages me to hang in there and continue my process. The styles I have seen are simiply gorgeous. I have watched all your videos here today. Thank you sooo much!
