Knitting with two colors is also called Stranded Knitting or Colorwork. I demonstrate two methods. In the first I hold both strands in my left hand and "pick". In the second method I hold the dominant color in my left hand and pick it and then throw the contrasting color with my right hand. The project I am working on is a traditional Norwegian sweater called a luskofte, or "lice jacket". www.knittingpipeline.com

The yarn I am using is from Quince & Co.

  • :/ I totally understood what you were doin, but I guess my cast on was wrong. I ended up making stripes. Knitting is so much harder than I thought it would be. But, thank you very much for being so simple.

  • thank you!

  • Thank you! I was wondering how this worked and I'm really glad you knitted Continental or I would have had no idea what you were talking about. :D
