  • I mailed Funland and waiting answer I'm really badly wondering what remains up there (passed the vending machine) if you happen to get there again could you take a look?

  • @misterbearbe I'm afraid the area is off-limits. If I wanted to be banned from the place forever I could take a look but I doubt I'll be doing that anytime soon!

  • Sega did a VIRTUA NBA?

I've heard of Virtua Tennis, Racing, Fighter, Strikers (soccer),

    Never heard of it

  • @HyperSonicXtreme It would appear it only received an arcade release.

  • Sweet man, Good job you got that footage before Funland kicked the bucket completely, No matter how many people cussed that arcade, myself and friends were still using it to play all the music games - Pump & Technika every weekend,. RIP!

  • @hairyman121 I know what is up there and what it looks like, message me if you're curious.

  • RIP the old Sega World how it was in the 90s ,remember the sweat shop on the bottom floor, used to stock up before going up, all the sweats were big giant gobstoppers , giant jelly sweats ect . funny the shit i remember haha.

  • Remember it was very busy and loud (so I'm told) and very exciting 'cos being a 90s kid was like being on the cusp of a de-revolution (millennium was exciting whist it lasted but look where we are now). I only got one tangible piece of evidence from being there. A water toy from a gatcha-type machine. Place looked so big back when I was 7, but now it feels so small and so quiet 'cos were in that anti-climax.

  • @misterbearbe Nah, up there are amazing 90s decals (that I want) and a lot of empty space they're making into a pod hotel for 2012 Olympic tourist and culture terrorist alike. It went up into 2 floors of mid 90s madness. I visited once 1998-9 and it was pretty wicked, you'd have to of been there. I remember walking up the the Troc and seeing Sonic's statue and going in to this escalator zone (chemical plant kinda). Never did get anything at the shop, didn't have my name, but got tokens somewhere

  • I've been here and i never new Sega world was orginal here! how stupid ;/

  • RIP sega world
