Here is a video of Denis Vasiliev finishing the third and last 3 minute set of Long Cycle with 31kg KBs. This was shot a week before the 2010 Russian Championships which was held the first weekend in June. Sergey Rachinskiy, Head of the IKSFA is his coach, and had Denis do three sets with just a minute break between them, and an increasing tempo. The first set was 7-8 RPM, the next set was 10-11 RPM and this final set was 12-13 RPM. Denis went on to win the Russian Championships in the 85kg (187#) weight division. Denis also won the Cup of Russia (another major contest) a few month later.
You will also see Sergey Rachinskiy training a young Russian boy, who is learning the basics of the push press., first with a KB, then with a dumbbell. No doubt he doesn't understand how lucky he is to be taught by a NINE time world champion, considered to be one of the all-time great kettlebell lifters.
That is such a great set for Denis, but the kid being instructed and learning that is what's amazing to me! :) Thanks for filming and posting Tom.
