I saw that someone named Ray Bradbury was going to be speaking at the college in my community.... I flipped out completely. Then I found out it was someone unrelated with the same name. I was incredibly disappointed.

The short story he's talking about in the beginning is called "The Lake." I think.

Such a gentle, life-loving, affable soul is Bradbury and I cannot express enough how much I hope to see him become the first human being in history to live forever. To lose the fresh, inspirational, articulate, poetic talent that he has blessed the world with in the form of storytelling will make for one incredibly sorrowful day.
What a joy of a man. In my life, I hope to achieve even a fraction the kind of optimism and youthfully exuberant spirit which he has imparted to his readers.
