Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver Opening

Was experimenting with animation-esque stuff lately and the Legacy of Kain is my favorite game series of all time, so I decided to make an ink on parchment style method of storytelling with the dialogue and music from the opening of Soul Reaver 1. Overall, this took me about two days to complete. One day to do all the drawings and the next day to complete the video editing. So hopefully all the LoK fans out there like this!

Kain and Raziel as well as everyone else from that series is by Eidos and Crystal Dynamics, the song is Ozar Midrashim by Kurt Harland and this video is not for profit, just a fun video that I dedicated to one of my favorite game series.

Now this is what I call art. Splendid, though I don't understand why you put an image of Kain dismembering the body of his vicim when Raziel says "Kain would enter the state of change and emerge with a new gift".

@scummmer Thank you! I couldn't think of a new ability to give Kain, so I wanted an image of him using his TK to rip a person apart. Just one of those things that I thought would look cool.

Wonderful. Simply wonderful.:-) This has to be one of the best tributes to LOK I've ever seen.:D If I had to make some critizism, I would say that there should have been a close-up of Kain after Raziel reveales his wings like in the original. Kain's expression in that scene is great, because he seems suprised, but not shocked, which is some great forshadowing to the future development of the story. But other than that, excelent video.:-)

@freaknr1 Thank you! I actually didn't think of that at the time I was making this, but now that I think about it, you're right. If I ever make any alterations to the video, I'll make sure to add it in!

@annodracula Thanks! I'm very flattered by that, unfortunately though the drawings weren't actually done in ink like they appear. They were actually all simple pencil sketches that I edited with the parchment type texture and the ink blot shading.
