Entry free for Yellowstone costs USD 25.00 and right after entry the agitation already starts; formidable views, splendid lakes and enough animals walking about. I stop frequently. Yogi Bear shows up and after this agitation, the next one starts; On a partik space alongside the Yellowstone Lake there are more than a dozen Model T-Fordjes, with their users. They're waiting for each other, because they go together to start to a ride through the park. Further down the road a herd bizons shows up, grazing along the roadside. No bison which pays attention to the thick Dutchman with its camera equipment, where a camera team of CNN would fade still. Ten kilometres further down the road one of the many hot springs show up. An American pints me out to a snow storm, which takes place far by uw, high up in the mountains. An impressive view. After that, it is time to find my hotel. But not, after I have driven backwards against a pickup truck. Damage turns out better than expected fortunately and the rental company does not do difficult when I call them up. The pickup truck has no damage and my Chevy has a small dent of one centimetre widely, right below the license plate. You have had such a splendid day, and this way it must end.
The next day starts with a visit to the Mammouth Hot Springs; a geyser right beside my stay. The geyser stinks to rotten eggs and pure poison comes from the breaches in the ground. The walking trail is 2.3 kilometres long and has been entirely moored with wood. Everywhere there are chalkboards that forbid you to stand on the volcanic ground. If so, you can catch a flame or you might fall into the lava, underneath.
Next day I leave Mammouth Hot Springs early. I want be in Salt Lake City in time. But there is another good reason why I get up so early; If you want see something of the flora and fauna, then must you get up early. The early standing up is not rewarded by the animals resident in the park; all the more mother nature. The views are breathtaking beautiful. The geysers do their work well, everywhere steams comes shoot from the ground. A splendid sight, although you might think this reminds you to the end of the times, so much steam there comes from the ground everywhere. The water of the ponds is warmer then the temperature in air, therefore it caused much steam above the water. This, combined with the rising sun, is a fantastic game of mother nature. The sun appears in millions colours on water surface. Some bizons, a couple stags and a reindeer show themselves on the road pavement. I leave Yellowstone behind me and drive southbound in the Grand Teton National Park; a park which is also worth it. Much of the dazzling picture are stipulated by the rock formations along the Interstate 89 South.
