Amazing Demo. Were the DAW and the Pod connected trough a Midi cable?? Cause I can trigger patch changes in my PodXt live through the USB cable. If not i might have to find a usb-midi cable for it. I´ve got a Mackie 1640i mixer/interface and it doesnt have a Midi Port, great mixer though.

@fasterfrets dude love this effect - 0:31 can you gimme some presets of this? :)
-
Is there anyway to leave the reverb and delay tails resonating from the previous preset once you have changed to another preset. It kind of sounds a little unnatural not allowing those effects to ring out once you have changed.
-
@fasterfrets hey there. Do you knwo if it is possible to do this on other DAWs? and also could you show us a tutorial of how to do it?
I can't find anything good in that field and I'd really like to be able to program channel changes with cubase 5, thanks!

best demo of the system yet. thanks for sharing.

Funny I used old school in 2 different posts 6 months apart and didn't mean too, guess I am really old school.,lol
-
@fasterfrets I tried one for a month and it wasn't for me, you guys that know how to use them,they are great and I respect that. I'm to old school and went back to just a bassman,tele and o.d. pedal. Thanks and you are wonderful player/musician

How did you do this! I love the distortion bit towards the end. I really want to do this!
-
@fasterfrets I bought one about 2 weeks ago, I love it but am having trouble learning how to use it, hence new product and I'm old school,, how ever do you recommend something other than my combo amp or headphones to listen back to what I am playing. Not loving the sound from the tube combo I have and your sound is insane, I would love to hear that coming back at me through some other type of speakers, what are my options. Thanks so much. Now that I have one I appreciate your tones so much more

and can i change a parameter of the expression pedal in the logic pro, how can i do that? (my idea is to control the pitch shifter via Logic pro)
thanks,
Guilherme
this was awsome! so you can store vst in the pedal?

No all sounds and everything are coming from the HD500, The computer (Logic) is just sending Program changes to the HD500.
Basically the computer is acting as my personal pedal presser! :)

was unconvinced, but you convinced me to try one. I had an m13 and thought it was ok but sold it and went back to pedals, but I am gas'ng for this bad for direct recording and to a board for those time's no amp is really needed. I like things simple though, that must of taken time to do all that. idk, i'm confused.lol

@glassbottleblues
Cool! Yea defiantly check one out!
That didnt really take very long to do, I just found some sounds I liked, then programmed the program changes, worked out the kinda thing I was going to play then pressed record!
Probably about an hour.

Thanks guys!
Just to answer a question ive been asked a few times;
Logic is sending Program changes to the HD500 to trigger Patch changes, unfortunately you cant send midi cc messages to change effect parameters.
Also I set the bpm of each patch to the drums in the master section of each patch.
