when i was yong a friend i know flew his kite and its pretty windy here in england, anyway to cut a long story short the wind took him and he flew about 400 feet. have you ever tried night kiting ? id imagine its possible , the idea being a light on the horizon infront of you for reference and leds running of alightweigh lipo battery and/or glow sticks on kite itself.

p.s i still have my kmx. :) i got loads of interest as its electric powerred now.

Nice display, a one man kite festival. All those kites though and no artisan ones. I'd suggest a Bluemoon Mamba by Ken McNeil. Well on second though maybe not, it would be a shame to see all those sport kites instantly retired.
