  • Baba Ivan van Sertima is one of the most gifted and dedicated scholars amongst Africans as a whole.

Baba van Sertima has the heart to tell us about our history and how Africans simply changed the world.

I owe so much from this hero and he will be so missed.

Baba Ivan van Sertima, 1935-2009, a genuis.

  • I join you in Shouting out Our Ancestors, especially Van Sertima!

  • i respect all these men but Sertima is wrong about us not enslaving white folks. Moors enslaved europeans and lived among them but never forced there religion on them

  • What I gathered from Van Sertima and Jose Pementa Bey is the Moors never had chattel slavery which is next to genocide. It was more of an endentured servitude.

  • @Ayobami001 truth , its a misconception that it was anything close to slavery, to deem chattel slavery ok or alright or we can forgive because Africans enslaved themslaves, which is false. Our endentured servitude was even more humane , than what the europeans called their endentured servitude. YOu see any people who practice a true MONOtheism will practive brotherhood because we believe in ONE and noONE will enslave themselves. Now will they?

  • i can understand mental liberation ,but there is too much bloody hatred in your mental liberation thing! it fucking looks exactly like racism!

  • @TheGenius360 "Black Chinese"? LOL!! OK, that IS hilarious. The fact is, the only people blacks colonized were each other. Also the pygmies and khoisan. But non-blacks usually ended up exploiting blacks. Why? Because blacks were still Neolithic peoples. This was in stark contrast to the Europeans, Arabs and Chinese of the Middle Ages, who all report contemptuously on the deep primitivism of black Africans, and how they seemed unable to create an advanced society on their own.

  • @interstellarwonder Mental liberation is needed. There is covert discrimination and neglect of black communities and brainwashing in the media as the origin of blacks is painted with bad images, by a sick-media controlled by the enemies of humanity. Yes liberation is needed. If you open your mind, you know that it is humanity that needs liberation. We're being deceived and played against one another. If you are told that you are superior due your color, you are enslaved to to lie. Silly you.

  • @takfam07 who wrote that so called science daily?Tthose days are gone when a Blackman swallows institutional lies pretending to be science. Crap Barbers are "Black" as any other Africans, why is it that when you find blacks in "awkard" places you changed them to "whites". A white, Aussie, NZ, American is related to the West, but a Black East Indian, Black Chinese, Black Arab is not negroid, yet they are all black. We colonize all those places long ago and left our genes for end of time. Admit!

  • very powerful stuff ,i plan to make my son hear this

  • black liberation movement haha this is sooo funny, black americans think they are still slaves, liberation??? FROM WHAT????? ya silly people.

  • @infox1000 True, the Moors were comprised of several races, ethnicities and cultures. My only contention is when modern blacks (usually African Americans) try to characterize the conquering Moors as "black." They were part of it, but by no means the whole. And I highly doubt they were the scientific and military general Moors. I'm not doubting black capacity. I'm just going by written accounts of that period.

  • @takfam07 The Moors weren't just one race of people...

  • Light-skinned, non-Negroid Berbers were indigenous North Africans. They were the Moors who were the military generals, the Moors who contributed to science, mathematics, architecture and philosophy. Peer-reviewed scientific research proves it:

"Indigenous North Africans are genetically quite distinct from sub-Saharan Africans (1), and this difference is reflected in their lighter skin and European/Middle Eastern physical features." Science 6 April 2007: Vol. 316. no. 5821, pp. 50-53
