The floats are so long that to keep this video short (relatively, speaking) there are no close-ups of riders. I agree, people have such a distorted perception about many aspects of New Orleans. It's a really shame, because this city has so much more heart than most cities.

Man this is a GREAT video. I rode with Tucks a few times and this video captures some of the excitement of the parades. It's ashame that the French Quarter and Bourbon Street are what people think of when it comes to Mardi Gras. See you in 2010!
