No offense guy but you play the guitar better than he. Nice contrast... What the heck does rolled-off mean in the previous comment? I can't imagine somehow wanting to be rolled-off, but maybe rolled-on would be worse?

The Olympus LS-11 records exceptionally well too - it's about $300 at present. I don't have one, but I was astounded at its quality and am toying with the idea of getting one to replace the dated and bulky equipment I have. There are many marginal field recorders - but a few stars. The Sony PCM-D50 being one - the Olympus LS-11 another - and the Zoom H4N... though only the Sony & Olympus gave a completely uncolored and uncompressed rendition to my ears. The Zoom seemed a bit rolled-off.

Excellent sound and playing. Kind of funny thought that we never saw the Sony PCM-D50 but I'll take your word for it that it was the recording device. :)

may I ask you something? So the sound we hear is recorded with the sony pcm. Did you sync the audio with the video or.. how did you do it? I'm interested in record a video with good sound and I'm a newbie in these things. please help ^^. nice video! bach ftw!

I use final cut for the video, and sync the audio with a software called Pluraleyes
