@MisterChimpy This was 2003 - we were the raft flipping over at around :39 in the vid. That river scared the hell out of me lol! Been dying to get back ever since though, just can't find someone willing to join me.

The videographer (Eli Helbert) that day was in a kayak taking video for paying customers on a raft trip. People do hike down to Sweets Falls though I've never done that.

I forget the exact date (though I can look at the original later and find out)... but I know it was during the weekend of Gauley Fest, probably around 2000 - 2001.
It was raining a lot all week and they were releasing about 2,000cfs as the Meadow was pumping in another 3,000cfs (I might have that backwards). Either way, Sweets was about 5,200cfs that day. :)
