I noticed they edited the Video... this was my OLD g8 racing Turks M3... the G8 DID NOT HAVE A TUNE nor a ported TB on it. Not sure why they put that on the video... The car actually went SLOWER after the tq converter/manifold.. Guess they were mad a slow G8 beat the almighty M3

Why does it matter whether the G8 was spraying or not. Don't people mod their cars to go fast and win races? G8 pulled....end of story. So would the M3 win the race if he sprayed? probably....he should get nitrous and run him again and post the video.

@atekido Bias opinions??? lol i dont own either car, i dont care...and you said it best those are the BEST stock times EVER meaning it was perfect headwind, perfect weather and perfect traction. Good DA. Its not everyday numbers. Most gxp run 13 flat stock with SOME hitting high 12.8 to 12.9 while most g8 gt run 13.6 to 13.8...the M3 runs 12.7 all day...the M3 is faster than any stock g8, not to say a g8 gxp with a great driver can't beat an m3 who is an average driver.

@atekido same engine , slight difference , same HP , we have the l98 on the 6.0l lumina ( ve commodore ) here .... cam,headers,exh,intake,tune = dead m3 ..... HOWEVER ... thats another story , as im talking about this video and this g8 , again THUMBS UP M3 for keeping up with the nos .

@cuts2thebone actually 13.4 is the best stock g8 gt time. and 12.7 is the best GXP time. the GXP are faster than the camaros. just figure i would correct your bias opinions with actual facts. take care.

@IRONHIDE110 g8 is l76 engine. G8 just needs a tune and cam and the m3 will forever see tailights, nos isnt needed.

@shockerracing i loved the race bro ,sweet rides ..but i'll say one thing ..the real fast car here is the m3 ..let's be honest .. a stock m3 comes with 414 hp .. so add tune+pulley+exhaust+intake = like 55 hp more for a approximate 470 hp on the m3 .. on the other hand .. the g8 gt (6.0l l98 engine) comes with 360 hp , so add tune+ported manifold+headers+exhaust .etc , that will at least add like 75hp+100 shot nos = 175hp .. so g8 pump like 535hp+ , and you pulled side by side .. SO THUMBS UP M3
