silly gookie, he just registered most of his companies in Chukotka, so, he paid taxes there and federal taxes went to federal centre but provincial (regional) taxes were left in Chukotka. it's huge amount of money for Chukotka and it gave good boost for the region's well being. btw, do you know where Chukotka is and what life out there looks like? check it.

Every country has people like Roman Abramovich who spent alot of money to get elected. Politician using money to get elected is nothing new.
How ever I think that Ramzan Kadyrov is a very stupid person and not smart like Abramovich.

russians got severely punished for their naivity that let happen f..king revolution in 1991. people that promoted and harnessed the revolution were like lenin's band unprofessional, greedy, moralless, etc. ideology was different but bolshevik mentality the same. this time it was eltzin's band and the meannest like berezovsky, gusinsky and others were robbing Russia. Abramovich is sort of a bit different. he shared with populice. due to that population of Chukotka elected him twice as a governor
