@gigeastman Wow, would not have known that he went to Buddy L. They made some of the neatest old trucks, what a career that guy had. Bet his kids always had something to play with!!

Great set Steve, those original motors are the cheapest looking things. Never seen one run that good or really ive never seen an original run at all. Also not sure how many came with the green cars, or how many came with the orange looking cars. The man who designed that train set ended up working for Hoge and designing many of their trains. Thanks for sharing once again!!

Thanks Jeff. I have a second loco that has a working motor but no pick up. Someday I'll fashion a brass strip for a sliding pick up and have two runners. I really need one more coach. After Hoge, Katz also ended up owning Buddy L.
