  • Nevermind, figured out they were dowels, but still, can't someone choke on them...?

  • @IAmSuchANerdLol Hi I used plastic straws in this cake. I do use wooden for heavier cakes or CAke Stackers which is a metal stacking system. When the caterers cut the wedding cake they remove the dowels, so no one will choke.

  • wow u make it look so asy...lol brill......i have a question tho. cud u possibly tel me the amounts of the ingrediants i would need for a 6-8-10" pan (cake tin). i have been asked to make my first ever wedding cake in 2 weeks and have no idea how many ie eggs, flour etc to use. she wants 1 vanilla and 2 chocolate. plz help me xxxx

  • @IAmSuchANerdLol It's to support the weight of each cake so they don't collaspe on each other.

  • Okay, so you stuck some wooden skewers into the base and cut them off while some wood was still in the cake, right?

Can someone explain why she did this to the cake, or what purpose it serves. Won't someone choke on the skewer if they try to eat the cake?

  • @supergirlinda805 Hi Can you go to the website? there are links on the Channel page and on all of the videos. The icing recipe tab is on the nav bar. The recipe is called "wedding cake frosting." Thanks:-)

  • Is it possible for u to post the recipe of ur frosting ...it looked fluffy and light...I've been trying to find one like that and I think urs might just be perfect
