Wait...what organization was this through? I lived in San Jose about four years ago and my folks ran a sports ministry in Carpio. It was through Christ for the City and it was called Nuevos Horizontes. At the time, that was the only soccer field in Carpio. How much has changed?

La Carpio is virtually all Nicaraguan immigrants? And what's with the reggae?? Why not some good Nicaraguan folk music? But as for the poverty, it is there, and it is real.
