  • This is a lame plane compared to the P-51 Mustang whcih had bigger wings and the Merling Engine could not be beat. In addtion to the fact that Gemrnay did not have four engine bombers to attack strategic allied targets. Sorry buts its a lame plane.

  • @LottoWinner999 always appreciated your comments lotto...tho' i'm not sure your correct regarding the TA-152 as an inferior aircraft. Take another look at its performance capabilities ..cheers

  • @Longnez oui correct. Un FW 190 D-9.210003 Dortenmann avec JG/54 en septembre 1944. (?),,merci

  • @networkdeath Yeager flew one and said it was "Honey of a bird" he might know something about aircraft.

  • combat ratios did the Luftwaffe the most harm

On the following 8th AF raids no more than 24 me 262s or 8 Ta 152s were available

    date bombers fighters

    1.1.45 850 725

    1.1.45 1011 505

    3.1.45 1168 589

Thus there were about 1,500 8th AF planes per raid against 24 (max) of the Luftwaffe.

In fighters alone it was typically 20 to 1 and often 50 to 1 in favor of 8th AF.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 I have a little time to mention that the ME-262 was a piece of junk and because Germany did not have enough Precious Metal Alloys the engine could not withstand the heat and had to be replaced after 10 hours use. It was junk with jet engines and could not not make a tight and thats were P-52 nailed them. BTW I never said or claimed the Ta 152 was tested. It was another "Herman Goring Failure" and thats why it had problems and was never finished.

  • @LottoWinner999 General Yeager would heartily disagree with you, lame-o.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 Well I can 7 were destroyed in battle and the M-262 was a Dog and its bark was worse than its bite. However in the end the USAAF strategy and better pilots easily defeated the Luftwaffe with overwhelming superiority in planes and pilots!

  • @LottoWinner999 Absolute nonsense. The D-9 and Ta 152 were fantastic planes. In fact, Adolf Galland said the Luftwaffe should stop askling for any fighters at all other than the D-9 and the Me 262, as they were the only fighters that could oppose the RAF and USAAF on equal terms. The 152 barely got into service at all, 25 or so operating with JG 301 flying airfield top cover for the 262s in early '45, so how in hell you can claim the plane was even really tested in battle beats me.

  • @LottoWinner999

This video describes nothing on Dora or Ta152 encounters. It does describe a single mission with three Me262 kills, but not credited to one pilot, which you have alleged in earlier comments.

  • @FiveCentsPlease Please watch this video on Youtube,"TUSKEGEE BLACK AMERICAN PILOTS DEFEAT NAZI JETS. " USAAF pilots that splashed "Ta 152 / Fw 190 Doras" said they were easy kills. The tail on German Aircraft were and was a real problem and its been proven the best fighter planes have large tails and the Mustang started that tradition.

  • @LottoWinner999

Pilot Rudi Driebe III./JG 301 flew combat in the Ta 152 in Jan. '45 and recalled that the Ta-152 could turn inside a Mustang during a turning dogfight (after a couple of turns.) Most who flew the Ta-152 noted that it had excellent turning ability. However, as you said, it was late in war and the Ta-152 had multiple problems that were never fully corrected (tail sized increased twice.) P.S. There is no combat record of a triple Tuskegee Me262 air victory.
