January Schofield has schizophrenia. Potent psychiatric drugs in doses that would stagger most adults seem to skip off her. She is among the rarest of the rare: a child seemingly born mentally ill.

  • Still think Jani sin't being exploited by her parents? As it turns out the Schofields and their agent Steve Truitt are gearing up to do yet another documentary for discovery health network continuing to promote that Jani was "born schizophrenic". Will they make any mention of the abuse inflicted upon Jani prior to her diagnosis at the hands of her own parents? If they do will they minimize it by calling it a "mistake"? Go to the Jani (not a real) Foundation FB page and ask them about the abuse.

  • @MrAnthonyRizzo

What is "real" anyways? We see what our mind tells us and allows us to see. I might see what you don't. Who is right?

  • This is Autism not Schizophrenia.

  • This is rubbish,Schizophrenia is not normally diagnosed until your teenage years & shes claiming to have visual hallucinations,I have nursed hundreds of schizophrenics & auditory hallucinations are common, but never visual hallucinations & they are feeding her anti-psychotics..She is being exploited or abused by her idiot parents.May God forgive you because she never will.Parents like you sicken me.

  • I have a similar video on my channel.

  • "The blood of numbers." Brilliant! I'd rather have imaginary friends to be quite honest. My real ones are all cocksuckers.

  • @mememe123xyz Our senses send signals from our environment to the brain which in turn puts them together as a picture of reality when our brain paints pictures without those signals from our sense but still registers it as reality that is schizophrenia and that is dangerous. We depend on factual information to make decisions. If we can’t trust our brain beca7use it is misfiring neurons it is a serious illness that needs to be treated.

  • @Cardywhite111 This video is all pretty much a deceptive portrayal of the real situation. Jani was abused by her parents beginning at 2 months old. She has brain damage that is likely due to the abuse. ofc they make no mention of any of this on any tv media but it's all in Michael's blog. All the abuse he blames on Jani driving him to it. • At what point does a group of people just look at the facts and say, we have caused enough pain and suffering in this universe, we give up. We will no longer torture the mentally ill anymore.

  • For all you people defending psychiatry, learn the facts. Lobotomy, malarial therapy, deep sleep therapy, insulin shock therapy, cardiazol therapy, ECT, and now antipsychotics. Psychiatry is not a means of treatment for the mentally ill, it is a means of elimination. If all the mentally ill stood together than maybe we would see some changes in this generation.

  • This is incredible almost. I am surprised how normal everything seems on the surface. I am also surprised they managed to stay together. What help are they getting from Social services? Is she in school. It must have been and still is such a strain for them all. Nothing is "normal" when everyone has to think about one person's reactions and what might occur if she were to be allowed simply to be herself and not have to do something all the time.
