@utarefsonmetushelac o nome do instrumento é melodica ou "blow-organ". É realmente demais! :-)

Notice also a diffference in setlists between auckland and chch. in chch they played heaps of songs off angel dust (like 7) and in aucks they played heaps of songs (like 6 or 7) off king for a day. Yes - they played less songs in aucks on the whole, but if you track their setlists from chch onward in chronological order they play less songs at each gig that follows the next

@uglybob0072 Yeah, I snapped up tickets for both NZ shows as soon as the pre-orders were released. Money was no object to see my favourite band together again. I was even considering doing a few Aussie shows. I really get the feeling they'll release something new at some stage. They kept hinting that they will see us again... but then again, it is FNM, you just never know :-)

@bpowick - Cool man. You're lucky/well organised to get to both concerts! I hope they enjoyed their stay enough to spread the word to other "re-uniting" bands to come over here as well. STP, Soundgarden, are you reading this......?

@uglybob0072 - Patton was taking the piss but obviously in a joking way, not with disdain (it is Patton after all, he's known for his sarcastic humour). Umm, honestly, I just think with a bigger crowd there was a lot more energy and the band was obviously responding to it. They just seemed to put more energy into the songs, in my opinion anyway. Don't get me wrong, the Chch show was brilliant but the Auck show was a bit more energetic. It didn't feel that much shorter either.

@bpowick - Interesting to read your comments. Other people have written that Mike appeared to have disdain for the AK crowd and took the piss a lot. Faith No More also played 6 less songs in Auckland and the concert was considerably shorter with FNM doing 2 encores in Chch. Did they do 1 or 2 in AK? Was it a better atmosphere at the Auckland show? Do you think it might of been the Tuesday vs Thursday night effect? I never thought I'd get to see FNM in NZ so bloody stoked to have been there!

I went to both NZ shows and Auckland's was FAR superior. There was a close to sell out crowd and I think the band responded to it more, just a lot more energy and better vibe than in Chch.
