@tjmack010 I see your point. I do believe they get paid for views but I've often heard them mention DVD sales so they get money from that too but your point of view is understandable.
@tjmack010 Can people stop saying they get money off views. They get 1/10 of a cent per view. 1 million views = $1000. So if one battle gets 500k views thats only 500$ they pay one battler more than that. Come on bro, stop with the views thing. How much do u think they get per view? 10$ the money they get from views aint shit. They have to build the brand, and stop saying we're the source, are movies in the theater free? NO because it cause money to make films google ads dont do shit
@MizzFabulous1000, URL gets money off of views, we're the source of their income, there's no real excuse to why they release their battles so late, I'm a film maker myself and it doesn't take 3 to 5 months to edit a video like theirs, because it doesn't involve complicated cuts or edits, it's linear filming and linear filming takes atleast 2 to 3 hours to do, I really have no problem with how they release their videos, I was just making a caparison to URL's and GT's.
@tjmack010 If URL uploads battles quickly URL can't make money off of it in DVD sales, so URL is not going to do that. If you want to see a battle buy the ticket or just wait for it to be uploaded, but You can't expect URL which is a business that thrives by making money to give you a Battle for free and as URL grows and becomes bigger you may not ever see another battle from them for free unless they're trying to promote a battle rapper on their roster so they can make money off of him/her.
@tjmack010 up HIp Hop crosses all boundaries, but originally it was a field of music created from the African American community and majority of the artist were also African American. And Rock & Roll is predominately white artist. Now Rock & Roll was originally started in the 40's Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, and more but all cultures like it. It's fine that a certain culture starts it but once a music genre becomes popular it can cross all cultural boundaries which is a good thing.
