My new WestBend Popcorn Making machine, received as a Christmas present 2011. I found a place in my office next to the water cooler ~(where else, eh?)~
This is my first attempt at making popcorn with the machine. (yes I first washed all the moving parts with soap and water).
I'm sure I will get creative and inventive as the days, months, and years go by with seasoning, and such .. and also get used to the smell of popcorn and burning oil in my office while I work :D
@junkyturd the best chance for popping all popcorn kernals has been to soak the kernals in water, then drain in a strainer, but it's too messy keeping the above in my office. I use noname kernels so it's cheap, and about 3/4 of tablespoon of oil and 1-1/2 of those double tablespoons of kernels. I also have a variety of those "Sassy Popcorn Flavors, like salt and vinegar seasoning, cheddar seasoning etc ...

I want one! Does it say if you can you preheat the oil first then add the popcorn for a better chance at getting all the kernals to pop and more of a full pop, or is that against safety standards? Tip: use theater coconut oil and add flavacol butter salt, it's what theaters use. Bought the supplies on amazon somewhat cheap for like a year supply LOL! Tastes sooo goood!
