This videos purpose was to be educational for inexperienced rabbit breeders
who are getting into the rabbit breeding.

1. Put the doe in the bucks cage.
2. Observe the breeding.
3. When the buck falls off, he may look like he is
hurt or dead and or make a loud noise. Don't be alarmed it
is completely normal. In fact it is good, it is a sign
that the breeding was successful.
In this video you will see the buck fall off and make a loud noise
which shows the successful breeding.
4. Return the doe to her own cage, check her gential area
before you return her to see if she is "wet" if she is it
means that the buck was able to "get" her.
5. Return the doe in about 8 hours to rebred with the
same method.
If you doe is in heat yours bucks maybe be very grumpy
your doe may be grumpy as well.
Her gential area will be a deep red to purplish color
instead of a white to light pink color.

  • @OkieAnimeFarmer I would suggest californians or New zealands for meat rabbits. flemish giants are decent meat rabbits but tend to take up more place and can be a bit "lanky" through the body. What I use is Cal Doe's crossed with a flemish giant buck. californians are also know for being rapid growers meaning they can be dressed earlier that other breeds. :) hope this helps.

  • @OkieAnimeFarmer I dont know. but I dont think they would be very good meat rabbits since they are MINI rex. if you are looking for meat rabbits you should find a larger breed more meant for meat. but again im no expert so I dont really know

  • can mini rexs make good meat rabbits if you give them high protein food?

  • ...was this supposed to be instructive...?

  • My doe seems to always dig when she pregnant n she seems to start pulling out her fur on her due date.... this time she had her litter on the 32 day... I heard they give birth in 30 to 33 days

  • @mzTayTay17 That means it wants a nest box NOW and you should give it to her. They can have their babies at 28 days and some have even had them on the 38th day.

  • what does it mean when the doe is in her cage digging all the time? she wasn't doing this before but she's been digging a lot ...she was breed 6/11...I know I'm suppose to put in a nesting box 28days

  • stfu you bitch

  • @stepquevion both u idiot

  • what do you mean by rebred 8 hours later do you mean you rebreed them 8 hours later or you telling us to rebreed our rabbits 8 hours later?
