are other governemtns worse, yes, but in the context of this nation, the principles we stand for, fight for and die for, are often undermined and oppressed by the government, a government who has used and uses it's resources to restrict and oppress other nations in it's own self-interest often in terms of economics rather than safety and even now we are going in the direction of the russian and other governemnts with increased police power, surveilance and spying laws, free speach zones, etc.

oh yeah better then a lot, and perhpas we do take our governments in north america for granted, however, they still oppress us, we have more freedom, but not the exct freedom we boast about, they still serve their own interests more than ours, their laws effect us, our enviroment etc and sell us out, they don't use force although they are giving more power to the police, the cia can listen in on anyone, and when they do that they insult the principles of the nation and those who died for them.

The American Government is vastly better then any other. I was born in Russia and been places, I know what I am talking about. And it isn't easy to keep the standard of living in the ghettos of America above what it is in middle class of other countries. People just don't live and spend like Americans everywhere. So if you ever decide to ration your food intake and stop driving and live in one room with three other families and can talk the rest of the country into doing the same let us know.
