@onlinedude15: You don't have to perform songs in the exact key that they're originally in. Chris Carrabba has a pretty high vocal range, and so tildraev simply shifted the key from Eb to G# to better suit his voice.

Performers do this all the time, just as long as they're able to transpose the progressions to their key of choice. In this case, using a capo, tildraev could use the same "E key" progressions as he would have with his guitar tuned down a half-step.
