I am applying for the Dean's Honor Scholarship at Tulane University. I am singing about biology in Latin to the tune of "Sweet Caroline"... below is the translation:

Hi! I'm Caro Baumann! I love singing, life science (biology), and the Latin language!
I love biology because it helps me understand how the world functions. Here are some fun facts about biology:
Macromolecules are the foundations of life. The macromolecules are sugars (carbohydrates), proteins, and fats. Macromolecules make up cells. Cells transport materials across membranes. Cells make up organisms, such as plants and animals. Plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen. Animals take in oxygen and release carbon dioxide. Genes link current organisms to their ancestors. Ecology is the study of the environment. It is important to study care of the environment because we live in it.
So now you know more about me, the Latin singing biology lover, Caro Baumann!
