This great song takes me back the 11th grade in high school. This was the 1st song we always sang in my junior year in chorus class. Still get that teenage feeling everytime i hear it. LOL

THe song's original title was Monday in the Park ,but it just didn't sound right. So, they changed it to Tuesday in the Park. Then, Friday in McCarthur's Park. The rest is history.

They had one of the best harmonies in the biz for their time and the horns wher an awesome touch they are the root of what SKA is today if you think about it
