From http://www.kevincaron.com - With the skin now on the stand for BobbyPin, Kevin's new bell, it's time for the tedious part: touching up the welds, grinding, welding some more, grinding .... Kevin also talks about the finish he's considering: rust and Penetrol for a harder, shinier look. See more how to videos at http://www.kevincaron.com

  • I have used permalac in the past. It is good stuff for a lot of things.

  • Great videos! I've just started metal art and I use this stuff called permalac to seal the rust. Suppose to neutralize the rust and has sunlight protection from cracking, its good stuff.

  • Yes, I will have a finish video where I put the Penetrol on. The piece is off to the sandblaster so sometime next week it should be done.

  • Whew. That is a lot of work! Never heard of Penetrol, will have to see how it's done and looks afterward. Will there be a video on that?
