  • It is moving so fast, that I can't tell what model it is...though it looks like an R40. By the way, I assume that the extensive use of the mouse that you were following the instructions in the Hardware Maintenance Manual...

  • R40e, and yes - I was following the Hardware Maintenance Manual. Bless IBM. ... Also chatting to friends. By the way, in case you're wondering - the laptop functions quite happily without an LCD. An external monitor works fine.

  • I have a T23 functioning in the same manner...no LCD connected to an external monitor.
