Taking care of chinchillas requires cleaning out the cage every week, offering a bowl of chinchilla dust for bathing, changing out the water regularly and feeding them a weekly orchid grass supplement. Properly care for pet chinchillas with advice from the manager of a pet store in this free video on exotic pets.

  • @sillyxpicklexxx3 They give the password out to mutilple people who are trusted and they each upload daily how-tos. easy.

  • @magicalpixies1 Nonono, thats not what she meant. She was assuming you feed them processed pellets. it's simply a cheaper substitute, she was saying "If you feed your chinchilla the pellets, you still want to give them the fresh timothy hay about once a week." Though you are correct in saying that feeding it once overall a week would kill them.

  • they need more sand!!!

  • please tell me why these people have SO many videos

  • Minccino

  • i got my bunny from that store

  • Chinchillas can actually live to be 25, I've heard of longer though. They're deffinitly a big commitment& not to be taken lightly. The only thing I can say is places like "expertvillage" aren't going to give you a good, full idea on how to proper take care of any pets. They are here to give you an over view& they have so many things that they are "experts" on that they can't really give you 100% proper info. Don't take what these people are saying at point blank. Try a forum, like Lucky's Place.

  • chinchillas shouldnt be pets, they r never should have been domesticated,a house is just not for chinchilla especially cages,no matter how big,ppl should stop buying them

  • my chinchilla is awesome thumps up for chinchillas thay are sooooo cute

  • Expert Village really needs to take a look at who they have do their "expert" info.

Fresh hay constantly, NO plastic in their space, they need a good pellet Mazuri or Oxbow. Do NOT feed pellets or treats made for other small animals.
