As I have said, sometimes it's something subjective, as it mainly depends on what you demand from a flick. For me, it has good scenery, an acceptable script, and acceptable acting -Jessica Biel did a good job, as did Marietta Marich & Lee Ermey.

It's not an Oscar-intended flick. You don't like it, it's OK.

But I do. Obviously, Tobe Hooper's cut is a CLASSIC.

Mine differs, as I loved to know more 'bout Leatherface's origins/roots & what has turned him & his family into what they finally became, something that didn't happened on the original, which I completely love for sure.

And not to mention the house on the remake = FUCKINGTASTIC.
