  • I feel like you did everything perfectly, except I get confused at the jump cut when you skip the remainder of your download files. I'm not sure what you're referencing when you say 'Installation Directory.' I have tried it a few different ways and keep messing up somewhere. Please clear things up for me! What do I need to delete? Everything, and then reupload my modules and sites folders? Please help!

  • excellent video... super easy to follow, did exactly what i needed.

One hint I have for you is that rather than deleting all of your original drupal install files, just load the new ones on and hit "replace all" when the program prompts you to. That way you don't risk deleting the wrong files

    Great video, thanks a bunch

  • PLEASE, note that if you have Clean URL's installed, you SHOULD disable them, or you'll get a Internal 500 Server Error.

If you didn't do that. Try adding "?q=" to the URL, that will make it work. Thanks a lot for the tutorial.

  • Great tutorial! However, one question :S

What about the modules folder on the old site... Do we just delete this and upload all the modules again from my local computer? That seems like it would take forever. I have quiet alot of modules. Do they all need to be configured again one by one?

  • Muchas gracias por subir este vídeo...ayuda bastante cuando uno no sabe sobre Drupal.

  • Nice tutorial except you lead the user to hose themselves by skipping step 9. Step 9 of course is poorly written by the drupal people as it gives the user no clue about where the "configuration file" is, or even the filename for that matter. If your tutorial clarified these ambiguities above and beyond what is in UPGRADE.txt it would be very helpful.

  • GREAT tute but respectfully I would like to give minor advice. Te vid was a bit blurry and the zooming was a bit dizzying.

Otherwise ROCKIN. Thanks and keep on!

  • maybe when giving a tutorial you shouldn't miss steps off camera... The whole idea in a tutorial is to show all steps needed!

  • i found a good tutorial from agoodi com

i think its under the taming drupal link

  • how long does the "Run updates" process take? Mine seems to take forever.. ?
