    That's exactly the problem with a lot of "crypto" researchers - e.g. Finding Bigfoot...these people are going in there with the intention of creating a TV show - entertainment - NOT objectively reviewing the facts and ruling out everything else FIRST. They go in, assuming any of them actually believe a word of what they're saying, and they have decided that sasquatch exists before they've set foot into the location - so of course if one of em so much as farts, their mind says "bigfoot!"...

    I agree that the skeptical mind is a virtue in this kind of work. It's too easy for people who want to believe to misinterpret clues and signs. Over here in the USA, we have our bigfoot hunters who go out there already convinced that bigfoot is real. They see every broken twig and say "Look, a bigfoot passed this way." It makes them far less credible than a team with your approach. All the best!
