A ride on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line from Nerima to Ikebukuro Tokyo. This is rare footage taken from on board one of the yellow trains that has recently been retired from service.
About half of the way through the video the train stops at a station and lets another train pass. Interestingly you can see the switch change as the train is at rest, followed by the signal turning green just prior to departure.
I have many wonderful memories of riding the yellow trains on this line to and from Ikebukuro with my Grandmother as a young child. This is my first video upload to YouTube, and it is dedicated to my Grandmother. Nana Genki De!!
