Helsinki Samba Carnaval 2010 was danced 12th of June. Helsinki Samba Carnaval celebrates it´s 20th anniversary !

The video presents passista's samba dancing through Esplanadi street in Helsinki city. This luxurious group was assembled the best dancers of all Finnish samba schools: Império do Papagaio (Helsinki), União da Roseira (Tampere), Samba Carioca (Turku), Samba el Gambo (Kokkola), Samba Maracanã (Lahti), Samba Tropical (Seinäjoki).

Traditionally the Helsinki Samba Carnaval -festival is a Rio de Janeiro -style parade, a competition between samba schools in Finland. Instead of having a competition, this year all the seven schools was creating one big parade together. Last time when samba schools made a parade in co-operation was 15 years ago in 1995.

The theme of the parade was "The history of samba".
Helsinki Samba Carnaval is one of the most popular Finnish summertime festivals with ten thousand visitors.
