@stangredemption Why would they thank you for getting out of the car without being asked to? I'm assuming your story is bogus, the rule is always stay in your car with your hands on the steering wheel unless asked to step out. Anyone could tell you that, and cops often flip their shit when people step out to talk to them or for whatever reason, without being asked. It's common knowledge.

@stangredemption i got pulled over in Nevada, non-violent situation, never been arrested, no record. I got out of my car and the policeman tackled me to the ground, i was confused and was scared, he punched me several times (which he called distraction punches in court) and then procedded to taze me while i was handcuffed. Needless to say, i won the court case. Oh, and when i need help i don't call the police, i call my HOMMIES.

In the US, if you get out of your car during a traffic stop without being asked to step out, you get shot with a taser and handcuffed.
