My brother rides and my dad. So... i have to ride. I bought the Katana used from my dads friend. I was stolen from his friend and then the guy ran into the back of a vehicle. It sat and then i bought it from him for $200. No wheels no forks lots of parts missen. I hit a junk yard up and got a steal. I got the whole front end off a 750 Katana and the rear wheel off another katana. I bought a front rim and tire on ebay. Also bought brake rotors off ebay. But they dont fit. SO some one i work with said he knew someone sellen a 95 katana 600. I was like what the heck. $250 for that Katana... why not. SO this is where i am as of now. Thanks for watching.

  • dude I have practically this exact same story! My dad rides and my bros ride, so... you know how the rest goes, lol. But My 1999 Katana 600 has about 30K miles on it, and i just got it running after putting only about $200 more into it. Oh and mine was $150 to buy so I was too excited about that as well!

    Check out my vids

  • @kchak1616

    I have a 91 600 as well and i'm running an 180-60-17. 160 fits fine. That's what i had before.

I wouldn't recommend anything bigger though.. Its starts to cause a delay when you are corning, and you will never us the full sides of the tire.

  • I have a 98 katana 750 can any one tell me what is supposed to be connected to the upper half of the carbs between 1-2 and 3-4

    it's a lil rubber T ???

  • Nice bike I got a '95 750 there fun bikes to work with I love the design. I think the one chink in their armor is the intake system I Cant understand why they put it underneath the seat Im workin on some kind of ram ventilation system for mine so she can finally breath but anyways good luck with her

  • 3:29...LMAO "Steering wheel thing" never seen a bike with a "steering wheel thing." Anyway, I basicly did the same thing as you are doing. Ended up parting everything out and making a nice chunk of change and bought abuilt '05 Kat. Check my video I put up. Have fun though.
