This is an unboxing and short review of Henge Docks' Docking Station for the 15-inch MacBook Pro (version B). Overall I think this is a great product if you want to de-clutter your workspace and don't mind not using your laptop's screen. It is a little spendy at around $65, but alternative MacBook Pro docks are much more expensive. Also, this mbp dock has a nice aesthetic which not everyone may care about, but it doesn't hurt either.

  • Hello,

Does the dock have some coating on the inside, where the mbp docks, to protect the mbp from scratches?

    Thanks

  • @123456iambelial It does not. I believe the new mba stand does.

  • So, you do have to buy a cord to hook this up to a monitor?

  • @quinnpwnz Yes. You do need to buy an adapter and then a cord.

  • I think that ikea sold this cheap thing

  • this is not worth $70

  • Looks cheap.

  • @Stevieboy7 thanks bro, thats what i just did the other day, I ruined the dock by pushing the thicker cable hard so its not perfectly aligned. I am waiting on my dock that i just ordered.

  • @turkbros try buying an apple certified cord. rather than cheaping out your "$1800" machine with eBay knockoffs

  • @dchawk13 lol, really? you shouldnt be working with/on computers. bluetooth stays on no matter if the computer is closed or not. No such thing as monitor with bluetooth

  • if i get the apple wireless keyboard will it still connect with my MBP when it's docked? Or does it have to connect to the monitor because my tv monitor doesn't have bluetooth. please help anyone!!

  • @myiphoneadventure so, it'd be better to buy a Mini DVI to VGA?
