This song is from Julie Browns(AKA Candy in the movie) 1984 album Goddess In Progress. People liked it so much they decided to make a movie based on it. Using the same title. But for some reason the song was never added to the soundtrack. I don't think it was even in the movie.

  • Zeebo was my first ever crush on someone famous when I was little! Damon Wayans ssooo sexy!

  • Damons cool :)

  • They actually DID include a piece of it in the movie, but it was a re-recorded version that really did not even sound like the same song at all. That's probably why no one noticed.

  • ok thanks for letting me know. I will listen for it next time I watch the movie

  • Mac was amazing. As soon as I watched the movie I fell in love with him.

  • @kaptainkaraoke Which is why I prefer the original version better. They should've used that one in the movie!

  • @GoliathGrowler

the music does differ to the point of sounding liek a remix and teh verses are completely different, losing the humor of the original

  • @kaptainkaraoke Well, the music arrangement's pretty much the same, and they do keep the famous refrain "Earth girls, earth girls are easy". It plays in the opening right after Wiploc and Zeebo start checking out Earth women.

  • @fadinginthedark the girl who wrote/sings this song is the girl who wrote the movie. She's in the movie too. The girl who's obsessed with Margeritas

  • @kaptainkaraoke Damn right. We don't want The N. We want Julie Brown. If you're going to make a movie based on a song, at least use the song it is based on!

  • @GoliathGrowler

there was a song with the same title, but completely different lyrics and perforemd by a different artist

doesn't coutn as the same song

  • @kaptainkaraoke They did, but it was a remix with different lyrics, and it plays extremely briefly. It's hard to notice, but trust me. I'm not lying to you.

  • One of the coolest songs I've heard my whole life.

  • LOL! omg this is so funny it made me cry
