Would you prefir this one? Or the regular Starting knot?

@YULitle K Thank you!

@YULitle So there would be 2 Parnell Tie-off knots for a one-piece string job right?

@JMUDoc Do you have any tricks for preventing the knot from going INSIDE the grommet when starting your crosses on a badminton racquet?? Everytime I tie my knot (I don't tie it like on the video) and that i pull tension on it, it just gradually slips into the grommet... Even when i "cheat" and weave the string on 2 crosses before pulling tension. It's also a pretty big knot, not just a single, small knot. Thanks

So since you can't you use the Parnell for a starting knot, can you use it for the tie-offs on a one piece string job?

@brandontang619 Correct

@brandontang619 Correct. You start in the middle with the mains. End the shot side mains with Parnell. then at the very end of the crosses, another Parnell.

is the knot used in the video "Starting Crosses with a Starting Knot"?

@brandontang619 Yes

@brandontang619 It's too small. Same for the PC knot. Both can not hold the starting tension. If you start with a starting clamp, and come back to the start, you can use the Parnell and PC knot. You just can't use it to hold tension at the very start.
