  • shockthesky - you can use raisins instead of mulberries. or any other dried fruit, apricot may be yummy too. just experiment with same proportions. i encourage everyone to substitute their fav ingredients into any of my recipes to tailor to your needs.

wodaospirit - no need for a food processor. before they were around, we used to chop by hand! mortar and pestles are great.

  • thank you everyone for your kind words of support and excitement. I'm thrilled to be back too. Will do my best to keep these videos coming. please make sure to visit my website where I post more recipes and links to other shows, like ones shot for VCN produced by the Hollywood Reporter (5 episodes). Love you all so much. xoxo

  • Aren't Peppers RED when "ripe"...? The GREEN Peppers still have a little while to go. It's best to eat food when it is actually ripe. Same goes for the mulberries. They're actually harmful when consumed unripe.

  • yes, peppers are red when ripe

and always ideal to enjoy fresh everything

but fresh mulberries are not readily available

we do the best we can

    be kind and forgiving

enjoy life, be happy, and give up being too rigid

i found it to create too much stress for me!

    :)

  • Ani GREAT recipe I'm gona buy the ingredients tomorrow!yey! BTW Can you tell me what you think of the SYNERGY kombucha drinks? They are supposed to be raw and healthy...Do you think it's a rip off or worth buying?

  • kombucha is great for probiotics, like what we find in dairy yogurt, but vegan and raw. it's great in moderation, as with all foods.

it is expensive, but then folks spend $4 on a coffee, right?

    hope this helps

  • Hi Ani! I love your book :)

I also wanted to comment on how much I enjoy LISTENING to your voice. It's very soothing and has a calming effect. Thank you :)

  • I think you come up with some very creative recipes and I'm thankful for your videos.. sometimes I'm not sure I need a nutrition lesson every time, but then sometimes that's helpful. The only thing is that sometimes you use a lot of expensive ingredients and some people don't have lots of money-so it might help to know how to make this when you can't afford mulberries for instance, etc...so it might be good to know what you can substitute for the expensive ingredients if you lack $ Thanks so much

  • Thanks for answering my question! You are the best! Have a great day!

  • no need to

just in this video help process the hard dry berries
