First off u maybe right but before u jump off to talk u should see and understand that it was ask how to keep n keep up the n how long its wud last now every one who wears weave clearly knows that oil make the weave old or look real old fast n if u don't now u know I didn't say oil should go on ur really hair but on the weave no thank u very much for ur input be bless@Brownocean

The track will be closer to the head if the braid is smaller.

I think to reudce pain and go for a more natural look or as you say and even more "soft look" don't do her braids so thick at the top as you go, and french braid her hair then gradually add the weave in, it wont hurt as much and the braids wont lift in the front. The braids will be much smaller and look more natural that way.
