Part 2.
Witold and Frederic pay a visit to a manor house owner Hypolit. Hypolit is a a simple-minded man who participates in resistance movement against Germans. He tells gloomy stories about war atrocities being executed just miles away. He concludes: - 'It's the matter of time, everything will crash... The worst thing, we don't have a place to run to'...This scene is highly symbolic with moths foolishly and painfully entrapped in the heat of the light. But Frederic's super-natural powers sense that there is always a lighter side of life hidden from the immediate view...
