Alan Wilson Watts was a British philosopher, writer, speaker, and student of comparative religion. He was best known as an interpreter and popularizer of Asian philosophies for a Western audience.

He wrote more than 25 books and numerous articles on subjects such as personal identity, the true nature of reality, higher consciousness, meaning of life, concepts and images of God and the non-material pursuit of happiness. In his books he relates his experience to scientific knowledge and to the teachings of Eastern and Western religion and philosophy.

  • oh! i think i get it... it's kinda like paint becoming an image of a person. The paint IS the person and the person is the paint... Because the person is the paint the person is also the grass the sky and everything... So if the painted person believed he was seperate from the sky and the grass that would be a hallucination on their part.

What the paint is doing they are doing, what they are doing the paint is doing. Damn this is a trip!!!! We are nature doing what we are doing....
