NYC used to hv lots of "L"s (2d av, 3d av, , 9thav . These were torn down & their neighborhood deteriorated badly. Business moved, lots of parking lots, lots of rats, lots of garbage.Chicago was super smart, They KEPT their "L"s & kept their neighborhoods for the most part. Business stayed, apartments maintained. Chicago THINKS.
