Berk Catback Exhaust, first production unit with X-pipe. Berk Hi-Flow Cats are also installed.
Slight rev to 5000rpm, then a mild launch with WOT to 3rd gear. 2nd pass is only to about 4500rpm to simulate a standard driveby. This exhaust is quite a bit louder then my Nismo with the HFC's.
This is a fairly aggressive set up with the HFC's installed, would be a little mellower with the stock cats. There is absolutely no exhaust drone cruising at 70-80mph in 6th gear on the freeway. IMO this is one of the best sounding exhaust for the 370z, great job Berk.

  • great car! great sound!

  • For a dealer to void your warranty, they would have to show that the HFC caused the damage to whatever part failed. However, being that this car is in CA there are a lot of legal issues to be considered concerning emission laws...

  • @knigh001 Agreed, the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act takes presidence over such actions. An aftermarket exhaust will not cause damage to the engine, drivetrain or body. I also agree that CARB has specific limitations imposed upon exhausts and other aftermarket parts. They must be approved by the board and stamped as such. A CHP officer can issue an inspection ticket and force you to have the vehicle inspected at one of their sites, which can cause libility issues you are responsible for.
